New Owner For Katies Lucky Day

Kentucky Filly Futurity winner Katies Lucky Day was sold for a six-figure price tag on Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 8).

Katies Lucky Day 3,1:50.4 ($522,849) sold to Patrick Hoopes of Pennsylvania for $450,000 on onGait.com.

Consigned by Black Magic Racing LLC of Ohio, the Uncle Peter filly's 2021 campaign included a 1:50.4 victory over Bella Bellini in the $351,000 Kentucky Filly Futurity at The Red Mile in October.

Katies Lucky Day is out of the Muscles Yankee dam Yansky 2,2:00.2h; 3,1:57f ($122,127), also the producer of Yanks Dugout 2,Q2:05.1h; 3,1:54.1h; 4,1:53.4f-'21 ($172,138).
