Like the filly divisions yesterday, it was déjà vu Tuesday (Dec. 8) for the three-year-old trotting colts and geldings in two $20,000 divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) for the second leg.
The first non-wagering event went to the all-Callahan connected Touch Of White (Keystone Activator-Staminetta) and driver Corey, trainer Nick, owner Dolly’s Breakaway Racing, and breeder Aaron in a 1:57.4 mile. Second was Chauffeur, followed by Riddle Me This in third.
The second non-wagering race was all Air Time (Dusty Winner-I Concur) in 1:58.3 for driver Art Stafford, Jr. and trainer Carlo Poliseno. The winner was bred and is owned by Jane Dunavant of Virginia. Zulu was second followed by Rocky Bomber for the show.
The top eight point earners return on Thursday, Dec. 17 for a $100,000 final. They consist of Air Time, Touch Of White, Zulu, Chauffeur, Rocky Bomber, Shiloh and Blazin Politics.
