Phone Terror easily wired her sophomore rivals to win the $75,000 Northlands Filly Pace for trainer-driver Serge Masse over a frozen track Friday evening at Northlands Park.

With the inside post advantage, elimination winner Phone Terror grabbed the lead off the gate with the rest of the field lining up in post position order. The popular filly led the way through panels of :29, :59.1 and 1:28.2 with Blue Star Beauty (Bill Tainsh Jr.) backing away after attempting a first over attack from third. Left alone on top entering the stretch, Phone Terror cruised to victory in 1:57.1. Pocket-sitter Prairie Illusion (Keith Clark) finished one and three-quarter lengths behind in second and Cool One (Don Monkman Jr.) came in third. The other elimination winner, Credit Card Junkie (Bobby Clark), trailed the field and broke stride at the third quarter mark before pulling up.
