Lorne House and his trainee, The Great Reset, took home the victory in the evening nightcap and card feature at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday, Dec. 5 after they won the top $9,000 conditioned trot from gate-to-wire.
After posting panels in :28.4, :59.1 and 1:28.3, The Great Reset continued home to win by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:59. Bucktober (Tyler Borth) finished second and Hot Fudge Sundae (Alfred Carroll) was third.
The Great Reset (Resolve-Dont Talk Back) is co-owned by House and Chantal Ruijs. The sophomore gelding earned his fourth win of the season and fifth career victory, moving his lifetime sum to $93,395. He paid $7.60 to win.
