Trotting mare Dirty Secret made an impressive debut on the WEG circuit on Monday night, notching her sixth straight victory in her first start at Woodbine Racetrack.

In rein to James MacDonald, Dirty Secret left from the outside Post 10 with the most early speed and landed on the front ahead of favoured Blush And Crush (Jody Jamieson) through a :28.3 opening panel. Dirty Secret marched on confidently through fractions of :58.1 and 1:27.3 before a wrapped up :30.4 final split to hit the wire three lengths to the good in 1:57.4. Chevious Cole (Scott Coulter) closed strongly to outbrush pocket-sitting Blush And Crush for runner-up honours.

The win was the 12th on the campaign and seventh in the last eight starts for four-year-old Dirty Secret (Justice Hall - Classic Flight), trained by Joe Cirasuola and owned by Michigan's Shirley Halas since being plucked from a $6,500 claiming event at Hoosier Park in mid-October. With the winner's share of the purse, Dirty Secret ($6.90) boasts $96,918 in career earnings.

With the Race 10 finale not spurring a single Jackpot Hi-5 winning ticket, the carryover heading into Thursday's card exceeds $424,000.
