When Shape Shifter split through horses late in the 2020 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final for three-year-old trotting fillies, she posted one of the biggest upsets of the year in her dead-heat win with Magic Cape. Was that the biggest upset of 2020 in Canadian harness racing?
While Shape Shifter was sent off at odds of 107-1, because she shared the win with Magic Cape her $2 win mutuel was $99.10, and thus not even in the top 10 of the biggest payouts for win this year.
