Kissing Camels and driver Simon Allard defeated six rivals to capture the final race of the 2010 Canadian racing season at Georgian Downs on Friday night.
Despite poor visibility and wet conditions, the four-year-old daughter of Astreos lived up to her 1-to-2 odds. She took over command just past the halfway mark and finished off the mile in 1:59.4.
For Allard, the win capped off a natural hat trick, as he won the final three races of the night.
As in 2009, the last race of the year took place at the Innisfil, Ontario track. And as in the year previous, the weather conditions on the final night were very challenging as a thick cover of fog made things very tough for all concerned.
