With another O'Brien Award finalist, Randy Waples, at her helm, the four-year-old Tagliabue mare started from Post 1 in Race 1 and nestled into fourth early on.

Waples had the pupil of trainer John Burns on the move first-up along the final turn.

Not far behind in second at the three-quarters call (1:29.2), Kandor Hanover and Waples went on to be first ones to the head of the lane. The duo went on to record a three and a quarter-length victory in 1:58.4.

The 'fast' track was given a one-second speed variant.

Kandor Hanover is an O'Brien Award finalist in the Older Trotting Mare category along with Windsong Soprano. Waples is up for Driver of the Year along with Scott Zeron.

Another notable aged performer that was making a return to the track during the session was four-year-old No Pan Intended horse OK Boromir, who put in his first charted line since July 17.
