With the conclusion of the Grand Circuit season last week, the final Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll of 2025 was released on Wednesday, Dec. 3, with Beau Jangles leading the way at No. 1.
Beau Jangles took over the top position in the poll in Week 20 of the rankings, following the Breeders Crown, and remained there for the remaining five weeks.
The horses ranked second through fourth also spent time at No. 1 during the season. Miki And Minnie occupied the top spot for six weeks, Yo Tillie for one week and Louprint for seven weeks at the beginning of the rankings and later for an additional five weeks.
Following the top four were Lexus Kody, Loua Dipa, Twin B Joe Fresh, Super Chapter and Ervin Hanover – all in their same spots as a week ago.
On To Norway, who last week closed his campaign with his 23rd consecutive win, joined the Top 10 at No. 10. On To Norway leads all horses in North America in victories this year, as of Wednesday.
Emoticon Legacy dropped out of the Top 10.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine year-end awards. The members of the United States Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus U.S. Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
