Trot Insider has learned that multiple stakes-winning and world record-holding trotting filly Wild Honey has been sold to European interests.

Trainer Jimmy Takter confirmed the news on Thursday morning. Takter, whose wife Christina co-owned the filly along with Herb Liverman and Jim & John Fielding, campaigned the daughter of Cantab Hall - U Wanna Lindy to 17 wins as a two- and three-year-old.

A world record holder by virtue of her 1:55.2h win at Delaware in 2014, Wild Honey counts two Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championships, the Matron, the Hambletonian Oaks, the Bluegrass, the Kentucky Filly Futurity and the Breeders Crown to her credit along with a $1.7-million+ bankroll.

Wild Honey will now report to the barn of Daniel Redén for Sweden's Stall Zet. Those same connections race as Brixton Medical Ab in North America.
