The lone female and the only three-year-old in the field, Rose Run Whitney roared through the lane to spring the 7-1 upset in Wednesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,100 conditioned trot.
Rose Run Whitney trailed by 3-1/2 lengths out of the final turn when Jim Pantaleano asked her for trot. She rolled past the leader, Mission Voyage, and defeated him by a head in a career-best 1:54.2 over a “good” surface. Keystone Chaos finished third.
