Handicappers put great faith into Go On BB scoring in Tuesday’s $26,000 Fillies & Mares Open Handicap at Dover Downs, and the classy Ron Burke trainee delivered

Matt Kakaley was paired up with Go On BB, and he wasted no time hustling the 1/2 favourite to the lead. The six-year-old daughter of Dontgetinmyway led the way through panels of :26.4, :55.4 and 1:23.4 before sealing the deal with a :28.2 final frame. Go On BB drew away to win by 1-1/2 lengths over Wish All You Want in a time of 1:52.1. Kellytuck Sophie tagged along to finish third.
The victory was the mare’s ninth of the season and the 57th of her career. Owned by Frank Baldachino of Clarksburg, NJ, Go On BB has stashed away in excess of $1.1 million to date.
Ron Pierce posted a four-win day, and in doing so it put him back into first place in dash wins this meet with 85 - two more than Corey Callahan.
