Travis Cullen fed other members of Northlands Park’s drivers’ colony with some ‘live’ catch drives on Boxing Day, and they made the most of the opportunities.

Cullen’s crew clicked three times on the eight-race card, starting with Bounty Boy in Race 3. Ed Hensley rallied from out of the clouds to win with the gelding in 1:59.1.

Cullen went on to sweep the Late Double wager thanks to wins in the final two races on the card. Ed Hensley stormed home to win Race 7 with Phoenician Gal (1:58), and he returned to cap off the card with Rain Gauge (1:57.1) in Race 8.

The horseman from Airdrie, Alberta has put up personal best numbers in 2015 thanks to his 231 victories and purse earnings that have climbed in excess of $1.2 million. He’s seven wins shy of 600 lifetime tallies while his lifetime purse earnings are quickly closing in on $2.5 million.
