Training Triples For Allard & MacMillan

Rene Allard, Canada's leading trainer for 2011, continued his career year by adding three more victories to his win totals on Monday afternoon at Rideau Carleton Raceway. John MacMillan also earned a training triple during the 15-race Boxing Day card

.

Allard sent out a perfect three starters during the card with his brother Simon in the drivers seat. E L Miss Pom ($5.20) won the second race, Marians Man ($3.40) prevailed in the 11th race, and Hazel Eyes ($3) stole the show in the 13th race for the duo.

Allard not boasts 341 wins on his 2011 record and a career high $3.24 million in purse earnings. He is the leading trainer for wins in the nation with 261 on Canadian soil -- 75 more than runner-up Richard Moreau.

MacMillan also scored a training triple with a trio off-the-pace winners. Royal Bandit ($3) won the third race and My Friend ($4) prevailed in the 14th, both in rein to Ted McDonald, while Getting Real ($10.10) and Gord Brown were victorious in the 10th race.
