JK Lullabye & Eoos Emerge At Dover

JK Lullaby and Eoos won stretch battles on a rainy, then foggy, Saturday, December 26 double feature at Dover Downs

JK Lullabye had the lead with Denim Hanover (Corey Callahan) testing him on the outside for the length of the homestretch before Mike Cole urged JK Lullabye up by a half length at the wire to score a 1:53.4 triumph in a $13,000 Male pace.

It was the fourth win of the season for the Bettors Delight-JK Lady Like gelding owned and conditioned by Todd Wise. The five-year-old has now banked $144,343 this year and now has won $294,630 lifetime. Stuart Brown N (Ross Wolfe den) collected third money.

Eoos emerged from a wall of finishers in deep stretch to chalk up a 1:55 victory, his second in three races, to win a $25,000 Claiming Allowance. Ross Wolfenden drove the Eric Ell-conditioned Rambaran-Nvincible gelding for owners Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta. Debs Mack (John Wager) was second with race favorite Perfect Swing (Jon Roberts) third.

Tony Morgan scored his win of the day guiding John and Betty Shaw's Break My Heart to his second win in a row and fourth victory in nine lifetime starts to win an $11,000 3&4-Year-Old pace in 1:55.2 for trainer Tim Crissman. Cool Clyde (Brad Hanners) closed for second in front of Allamerican Profit (Mike Cole).

Corey Callahan had a driving triple. Mike Cole, Tony Morgan and Brad Hanners had two wins apiece while Dylan Davis scored an owner-trainer double.

Saturday and Sunday post time is 5:30 p.m. Friday is a dark day for live racing. Dover Downs will not race this Thursday, Dec. 31, New Year's Eve day. Weekday racing starts at 4:30 p.m.
