“Have a peek at the line two back where Middleton Terror flew home in a snappy :28.3 and just missed getting it all. Lands on the cones and is going to get a tidy trip so this could be the day he seals the deal.”
The sixth race is the Boxing Day Pace for a $2,200 purse. Elroy Shiner will seek win number 10 of the season from post five with Brady Sweet back in the bike for trainer Jeff Holmes and owner Frank Sweet.
Island Beach Boy is the favourite with rail control in Race 7, the Darren Greig 40th Birthday Pace. MacPhee drives the Tom Weatherbie trainee for owners Ian Smith and Arnold Hagen.
