Middleton Terror will aim to wrap up the featured pace on a special Boxing Day program on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The capital oval has a 12-dash presentation on Boxing Day starting at 12:30 p.m.

The $3,600 Preferred Pace lines up in Race 11 with rail starter Middleton Terror selected in the win position by Race Secretary Gerard Smith. David Dowling trains and drives the son of Stonebridge Terror for owners Kingsley Walsh and Frank Balcom. The four-year-old gelding was a third-place finisher his last start to Roll Em and No Plan Intended, who are both absent from action this week.

Laughagain Hanover (To be driven by Jason Hughes) has post two in the field while post three starter Pictonian I Am (Ken Murphy) steps up to Preferred company after winning his last two starts. Mantario leaves from post four with Ontario driver Damian MacLellan back on the East Coast for the holiday season.

Post five has Fern Hill General (Brodie MacPhee) while former Gold Cup and Saucer winner Time To Dance (Marc Campbell) leaves from the outside post six.

The Post Time Picks like Middleton Terror to deliver off the rail.

“Have a peek at the line two back where Middleton Terror flew home in a snappy :28.3 and just missed getting it all. Lands on the cones and is going to get a tidy trip so this could be the day he seals the deal.”

The sixth race is the Boxing Day Pace for a $2,200 purse. Elroy Shiner will seek win number 10 of the season from post five with Brady Sweet back in the bike for trainer Jeff Holmes and owner Frank Sweet.

Island Beach Boy is the favourite with rail control in Race 7, the Darren Greig 40th Birthday Pace. MacPhee drives the Tom Weatherbie trainee for owners Ian Smith and Arnold Hagen.
