Due to high winds and extreme temperatures and concern for the safety of participants, MGM Northfield Park is cancelling its Friday, Dec. 23 racing program.
Live racing is set to resume on Monday, Dec. 26 with a first post of 6:40 p.m.
Wednesday evening’s Dec. 28 program that is being drawn on Friday, Dec. 23 will clear immediately following the draw. Horsepeople should contact the judges at 330-467-4101 ext. 52310 following the draw to do driver changes.
The filly and mare "December Conditioned Series Finals" that were scheduled for Friday, Dec. 23 will be re-drawn as part of the Friday, Dec. 30 program. Horsepeople must re-enter for all classes.
MGM Northfield Park will race Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to close out the 2022 season at 6:40 p.m.
