Officials at Flamboro Downs would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to all members of the local Standardbred industry that were kind enough to make contributions to the track’s annual toy drive.
Good Shepherd of Hamilton was the happy recipient of 378 toys that Flamboro officials were able to deliver due to the kindness of the local industry.
“We at the race office appreciate all of the time and donations we received to surpass this season’s goal!” Tammey McEneny explained. “It is a great feeling when we can all come together to help some children have a special Christmas morning.
“We at Flamboro Downs would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday,” said McEneny. “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”
