Trainer Yves Tessier enjoyed a perfect night at Rideau Carlton Raceway, ending the 12-race Sunday card with three wins in as many starts.

The Laval, Que. conditioner earned his first win on the program in the fourth race with trotter Margarita Man ($4.10) and went back-to-back with repeat winner, pacer All Chrome ($2.40). Aarons Mattjesty ($14.70) later paced the fastest mile of the night in 1:57.1 in the 10th race to complete Tessier's training triple. Meet leader Denis St. Pierre drove all three winners.

Tessier now boasts 17 wins in 39 starts this year for a training average of 0.578.

In the featured $6,400 Winners Over Pace, favourite Poppys Bucky Boy ($4.80) circled a field of six to win for the 10th time this year in 1:57.3 over the 'good' track. Stephane Pouliot trains and drives the four-year-old son of The Panderosa for owners Meadowgem Farm of Osgoode, Ont. and 9096 9205 Quebec Inc. of St. Henri De Levis, Que.
