Closing night of the meet at Yonkers Raceway is coming up on Thursday (Dec. 22) and the 10-race program will include a $2,871.70 carryover and a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick 6. This will be a mandatory payout since there are no additional cards at Yonkers the remainder of the calendar year.
The guarantee in the Pick 6 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 5 will be available on the TrackMaster website. The Pick 6, which begins in Race 3, has a takeout rate of 20 per cent.
Thursday night’s program also has three $33,000 Open Handicaps - a trot in Race 2, a fillies and mares trot in Race 7, and a fillies and mares pace in Race 8. Post time is 6:55 p.m. (EST).
