Vapor In The Wind ($3.60) made it three straight Saturday at the Isle Pompano Park, scoring an easy two-length victory in the $16,000 Open Handicap Pace.

Armbro Dynamic (Wally Hennessey) was first on the lead at the start of the third race feature, going to the opening quarter mile in :26.4 with Sugars Pride (Anthony Napolitano) grabbing the two-hole second spot.

But with a blast of speed, Kevin Wallis sent Vapor In The Wind right to the front and they led the field to the half mile pole in :55. It was then that Bruce Ranger came first-over with He Wants It All and they pushed the lead to the three-quarters in 1:23.1 but despite a valiant effort, He Wants It All was no match in the stretch for Vapor In The Wind who went on to victory in 1:51.3. He Wants It All was second with Monet C C (Joe Pavia, Jr.) third.

It was the eleventh win this year for the Tanah Merah Farms' Vapor In The Wind. The four-year-old gelding by Cole Muffler is trained by Richard Macomber.

Kevin Wallis and Joe Pavia, Jr. led all drivers on the night, each winning four races on the card.
