Doing all the heavy lifting on the outside, Outrageous Show was upset bound in the Steven MacRae Memorial final on Saturday (Dec. 2) afternoon at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The $4,500 Steven MacRae Memrial Fall Series final had Rockin Novel (Ken Murphy) guard the pylons at the start to trip the opening quarter in :29 flat over a wet track listed two seconds off. Heavily favoured Keeper Floored (Marc Campbell) came calling past the quarter to swoop up and take the lead at the half of :58.2 while Outrageous Show (Corey MacPherson) was on the move on the outside first-over. Outrageous Show and Keeper Floored battled to the three-quarters of 1:29.1 but it was Outrageous Show who prevailed in the stretch drive by three-quarters of a length in 1:59.3 at 7-1 odds. Keeper Floored was second with Philthebank (Jason Hughes) completing the triactor.
