Away last in the field of six, Armbro Flight runner-up Kandor Hanover erased a two and a half length deficit in the stretch to notch her third straight victory in Monday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows

Although Kandor Hanover was wide in the lane for Dave Palone, the 1-2 favourite gobbled up the leader, Victory Is Coming, in deep stretch and defeated that rival by three-quarters of a length in 1:55. Hawaiianphotograph rallied for show.

Bill Zendt trains Kandor Hanover, a five-year-old daughter of Tagliabue out of Katelyns Glory, who extended her career bankroll to $439,485, for the Online Stables and John Burns of Mississauga, Ont., and J. Patrick Huber of Dublin, Ohio.

Brett Miller drove five winners and Palone three on the 14-race card.
