Coming off impressive back-to-back scores in the first two legs of the Incredible Finale Series, Kenneth Hughes' Rich N Fancy was bet like defeat was out of the question in Thursday’s $9,700 series final at Maywood Park.

Rich N Fancy had no problem delivering on her pari-mutuel promise as she romped to an eight-length victory in 1:58.4.

Sent right to the front from Post 6 by trainer-driver, John Roberts the daughter of Richess Hanover--Anxious Blaze effortlessly grabbed control of the proceedings in the opening turn. After having rolled through splits of :28.2, :59.1 and 1:27.2, the filly then opened up a four-length advantage.

Continuing to widen her advantage over the seven other fillies in the race, Rich N Fancy was on cruise control the rest of the way, as she paced under the wire with her third straight victory and her fourth win in six lifetime starts. The win time was 1:58.4.

Fox Valley Matinee (driven by Todd Warren) followed the winner's every move while settling for the bridesmaid role. Pretty Place (Tom Insko) overcame a troubled trip to rally for the show dough.

Sent off as the 1-5 choice, Rich N Fancy returned $2.60, $2.20 and $2.10 across-the-board prices.
