In partnership with New York Jets game analyst Quincy Enunwa and the United States Marines, Meadowlands Racetrack wrapped up its annual Toys for Tots collection drive this past weekend on Friday, Dec. 12.
For the past few weeks, Meadowlands Racetrack has been a proud hub of generosity, with employees, customers and horsepeople coming together to donate toys for children in need associated with SBH Health System. The collection drive received an outpouring of support, with more than 500 toys donated and $10,000 USD from the Meadowlands Amateur Driving Club.
The toys will be delivered to children at SBH Health System, a Safety Net Hospital in the Bronx, NYC, on Tuesday, Dec. 16. These donations will bring joy to children in need, helping to make their holiday season brighter and more memorable.
General Manager Jason Settlemoir was overwhelmed with this year’s collection drive.
“The support for this year’s collection has been truly incredible,” said Settlemoir. “We’re grateful to everyone who came together this holiday season to help those in need, and we especially want to acknowledge the generous contribution from the Meadowlands Amateur Driving Club.”
