Set Me Up, a newcomer to The Meadows, found the track to her liking Tuesday as she zipped to the lead and scored handily in the $18,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace.

Set Me Up had been competing at Yonkers, Pocono and Harrah’s Philly, where she showed a penchant for the front end. Dave Palone obliged her, giving her a comfortable :56.4 first half. The six-year-old daughter of Shark Gesture-Moccasin Flight easily held off the late challenge of the pocket-sitting Coffee Addict, defeating her by a length in 1:52.3. Do Me Honor finished third.

Ron Burke trains Set Me Up, who extended her career bankroll to $335,459, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

Jim Pantaleano, trainer Norm Parker and Palone each enjoyed a three-bagger on the 15-race card.
