Easy Again held off the late charge of his stablemate, Visible Gold, to capture Monday’s $18,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Hammered down to 1-2, Easy Again was pocketed by Dew N Doughnuts early before retaking at the three-eighths. Urged on by Dave Palone, Easy Again found more in mid-stretch and defeated the rallying Visible Gold by 1/2 length in 1:52.2. The first-over Nitro Seelster was third.
Ron Burke trains Easy Again, a five-year-old Dragon Again-Kuklapanandollie ridgling who now boasts $735,381 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, M1 Stable and Panhellenic Stable. It was one of three wins on the 15-race card for Palone.
