Iwontdothatagain went wire-to-wire in the $10,800 Open Pace featured on Fraser Downs' Friday night card of harness racing.
Iwontdothatagain led all the way in sloppy conditions, posting panels of :28.1, :58 and 1:25.4 en route to victory in 1:53.2.
Scott Knight drove the 9-5 second choice for trainer Kelly Hoerdt, who was aboard third-place finisher Peach Out Posse. Favourite Boiling Oar rallied three-wide off that one's cover to finish second, 1-1/2 lengths behind the winner.
Iwondothatagain, who took a new lifetime mark of 1:51.2 two starts ago in the Jim Vinnell eliminations, is owned by Hoerdt and Ed Keryliuk. The eight-year-old Stonebridge Regal gelding boasts 25 top three finishes from 29 starts this year -- six of those being wins to put his career total at 37 and lifetime earnings over $300,000.
