The 'Travis Cullen Show' continued at the new Northlands Park meet as the top horseman won five of Friday night's nine races.
Cullen's training/driving quintet consisted of wins by Cheat To Win ($2.90), Southwind Luna ($3), Canbec Hooligan ($4.80), Phoenician Gal ($5) and Rain Gauge ($3.90) -- the last four were consecutive victories to close out the program.
The 2015 O'Brien Award of Horsemanship candidate boasts a .520 training URS to top the Canadian standings and sits second behind win leader Richard Moreau with 220 victories from his stable. He has won 238 races as a driver and his .492 average is second-best nation-wide. This year, he surpassed the million-dollar mark for the first time in both trainer and driver earnings.
Also a repeat winner on Friday night, J.F. Gagne swept the early Daily Double driving Big Shir ($6.50) and Cheer For Court ($29.10).
