In a familiar scenario with a familiar result, Unefoisdansmavie sat in the pocket behind Victory Is Coming, then brushed by in the Lightning Lane to capture her third straight in Wednesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

As they have in all three wins in their current streak, Dave Palone and Unefoisdansmavie allowed Victory Is Coming to cut the fractions before pouncing to score in 1:55.3. Action Broadway rallied for second while the hard-luck Victory Is Coming saved show.

Ron Burke trains the five-year-old daughter of Revenue S-Peace To The World, who now boasts five victories in her last six starts and $217,974 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt III.

Palone drove three winners — all for Burke — on the 12-race card.
