After letting down her pari-mutuel backers in last weekend’s $50,000 Battle of Albert Super Final, A Ps Money Maker bounced back with a dominant victory in Friday evening’s $13,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace

at Northlands Park.

With Bill Tainsh, Jr. at the helm for trainer Travis Umphrey, A Ps Money Maker sped to immediate command and never looked back en route to posting the 1:58.1 decision. She dictated fractions of :29.2, 1:00.1 and 1:28.4 before scooting home in :29.2 to win by more than three lengths over Second Fancy. Admired Beauty rounded out the top three.

Terry Hamilton, Joe Tinelli and Shir Win Racing Stable of Alberta share ownership on the four-year-old daughter of Cardmaster Hanover, who won for the second time in eight trips postward this season. The 12-time winner has stashed away in excess of $41,000 in 2009 and close to $300,000 to date.
