Just Plug It In front-stepped his way to the winner’s circle in Friday’s feature race at Fraser Downs, and in doing so he provided his connections with their first victory since acquiring the pacer earlier this summer

.

The five-year-old son of Artsplace, who was purchased in August for $70,000 at the Summer Sizzler Mixed Sale by J J J Stables of Aldergrove, BC and Casandra Uppal of Blaine, WA, mixed it up to the quarter pole in :27.3 with Lil Dude Starrbuck before controlling middle fractions of :56.2 and 1:25 en route to the 1:53 decision.

It was more than a pair of lengths back to the runner-up, Lil Dude Starrbuck. Cash Account tagged along to finish third in the $12,000 Open Pace.

Trained and driver by Ed Hensley, Just Plug It In won for the sixth time this season and for the 17th time in his career. He has stashed away more than $88,000 this year and more than $275,000 to date.
