Leading the rankings nationally and locally, Jodie Cullen's students kept up the momentum on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Flamboro Downs with four returning to the winner's circle.

Abovemypaygrade ($6.80) and Travis Cullen were the first on deck for the Cullen team on Wednesday and the Sunshine Beach-Appeals To Me gelding made every call before winning by 4-1/4 lengths in 1:59.3 in the $7,500 conditioned pace for two-year-old males. The freshman winner is owned by Ronald and Travis Cullen.

Following in race five, a $7,500 conditioned pace for horses and geldings, Howyouplay Thegame ($6.20) also took the fastest way around the track. With Daryl Thiessen in tow, the Sportswriter-Show Some Machsie gelding romped in his class with a five-length score in 1:55.2. Stablemate Yourtheone (Travis Cullen) nabbed a cheque with a fifth place finish in the race. The winning five-year-old gelding is owned by breeder David Snowden.

Respect Our Flag ($3) followed in his fellow stablemates footsteps, winning his $10,500 conditioned pace gate-to-wire by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:56.2. Travis Cullen piloted the eight-year-old Roll With Joe-Gyrations gelding, who he co-owns with Ronald Cullen and Paul Sanders.

Finally, Codename Cigar Box ($3) faced the toughest test of his team, steered from post nine as the trailer by Travis Cullen, moving first over at the half and grinding to a one-length victory in 1:55.1.  The Custard The Dragon-Art Amour gelding is owned by Paul Sanders, A1stable and Ronald Cullen.

Jodie Cullen sits atop the Flamboro Downs standings with 91 wins over the meet to date and she currently stands as Canada's season leader by wins.
