Driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Anette Lorentzon teamed up with a pair of three-year-old trotting fillies — Sweet Heart As and Context — to sweep the twin $12,800 features at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon (Dec. 10).
The Conway Hall miss Sweet Heart As capitalized on a second-over trip to win in 1:56.2, three-quarters of a length ahead favoured pocket sitter Reciprocal Blue Chip. ACL Stuteri AB owns the filly, who has four wins in 12 seasonal starts.
Tetrick rallied Context from farther back in the other feature, sweeping three-wide and closing strongly to win in 1:56 over 38-1 shot President. The Father Patrick filly won for the third straight time for owner Jorgen Jahre Jr.
In the $11,600 top fast-class trot on the card, Fashion Creditor handled a one-step jump in company with aplomb, setting all the fractions for George Napolitano Jr. and prevailing by 1-1/2 lengths over Rock Of Cashel. Tom Fanning trains the veteran Credit Winner gelding, who has earned $722,735 in his career, for owner Joseph Smith.
Todd McCarthy, David Miller, George Napolitano Jr. and Tim Tetrick each had three winners on the Thursday card.
