Meadows Feature To Run And Tell Pap

Run And Tell Pap, who broke stride last week with victory in sight, had no problem holding the lead Monday at The Meadows when he drew off to a facile win in the $20,000 Preferred Trot.

Run And Tell Pap used his quick speed to grab the early lead in each of his four most recent starts only to come away without a victory. He snapped that frustrating streak Monday when he seized the lead for Dave Palone and jogged home over a sloppy surface in 1:54.4. He was 2-3/4 lengths better than the ground-saving TSM Photo Bugger. Fox Valley Smarty was third.

Ron Burke trains the five-year-old High Falls-Adele’s Jade gelding, who now boasts $284,504 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and M1 Stable. It was one of five wins on the 14-race card for Palone.
