Parisian Blue Chip returned to the racetrack after four weeks away and the career earner of more than $600,000 won her qualifying race from gate-to-wire at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday, Dec. 1.
James MacDonald and the Shawn Steacy student clicked out panels in :29.1, 1:00.2 and 1:29.3 before continuing home to win by a half length in 1:56.4.
The eight-year-old Bettors Delight mare has five wins this season and $151,360 earned throughout 2023. In her career, Parisian Blue Chip boasts earnings of $660,714 from a record of 31-25-17 in 154 starts with a mark of 1:49.4 taken this year at Mohawk. Stephen Klunowski and David McDonald co-own Parisian Blue Chip.
