Stealing Bases and Cinders Baby posted matching 1:54.4 miles in their respective first-round divisions of the last Delaware Standardbred Breeders' Fund series for three-year-old pacing fillies on Wednesday night (Dec. 1) at Dover Downs.

In the first division, Stealing Bases took command at the quarter and led to the wire to defeat Roses And Orchids and Hey Hey Dbay. Tim Tetrick drove the JoAnn Looney-King homebred daughter of Roddys Bags Again and End To End Hanover for trainer Jim King Jr.
The second division was marred by the favourite breaking after the start, leaving a clear track for Cinders Baby to go wire-to-wire in a lifetime best performance over Harrington final winner Tobago Time and Seboomook Beauty. Ross Wolfenden drove the Rockabillie-Cinderella filly for trainer Virginia Louthan, owners William Masterson and Eli Beiler, and breeder Elam Esh.
Three-year-old pacing colts and geldings contest their first DSBF preliminary on Thursday (Dec. 2); post time is 4:30 p.m.
