DSBF Continues At Dover

Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) action continued at the start of the week over at Dover Downs, with the fillies competing in two non-wagering events on Monday (Nov. 30) followed by the colts and geldings in non-wagering events on Tuesday (Dec. 1).

First non-wagering race for fillies went in a swift 1:56.1 to Emmys Mayflower (Anders Bluestone-Sterling Charisma) in the lead by seven-and-a-half lengths for driver Russell Foster and his uncle, Eric, who is the trainer, owner and breeder. Blue Carats and Katies Blue Diamond were second and third.

Happy To Do It (Anders Bluestone-Lil Miss Tagliabue) won the next non-wagering event in 1:57.3 for driver Jonathan Roberts and owner/trainer Bobby Glassmeyer. Dabigspooky Bootah was second followed by the Harrington final winner Stella A in third.

The first non-wagering event for colts and geldings went to Touch Of White (Keystone Activator-Staminetta) and “Captain” Corey Callahan in 1:59 for his father Nick and owner Breakaway Racing,Inc. The breeder was Corey’s brother Aaron. Second was the Harrington final winner Zulu with Chauffeur getting the show position.

Second non-wagering event was won by Air Time (Dusty Winner-I Concur) in 1:59 for driver Art Stafford, Jr and trainer Carlo Poliseno. Owned and bred by Jane Dunavant of Virginia. Second was Riddle Me This followed by Rocky Bomber.

Tomorrow night the three-year old pacing fillies race their first Dover leg. Post Time is 4:30 p.m. (EST).
