It has been reported that a lawsuit by anti-Ohio slots group 'Ohio Roundtable' has stalled developments in the state's racino movement

.

An article by The Plain Dealer explains that the lawsuit filed has effectively blocked the gaming expansion for the time being, but that the Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is expected to address the situation soon.

Due to the suit, the Ohio State Racing Commission has yet to release the fees for relocating racetracks within the state. Earlier this year, raceways announced that they would be applying to relocate their facilities due to incoming casinos which would affect the tracks' bottom lines going forward.

The article also states that officials with Northfield Park may choose to fight plans by Penn National Gaming Inc. to move Raceway Park in Toledo to Austintown, in the Youngstown area.
