With one month to go, driver Jody Jamieson continues his quest for the Canadian record as well as the 2009 North American dash winning title

.

The Cambridge, Ont.-based driver sits at 709 wins on Canadian soil, thus needing 31 wins to eclipse Mark MacDonald's Canadian record of 739 wins back in 2006.

Jamieson's other race is for the North American dash title, which he leads with 718 wins overall. Jason Barlett sits second to Jamieson with 691 tallies.

Trot Insider will continue to follow Jamieson through the final month of the year as he aims to rewrite the Canadian harness racing record books. Looking ahead to race cards with final changes made, the 33-year-old sulky sitter has 10 drives on Tuesday night at Georgian Downs, a full dance card of 12 drives on Wednesday at Flamboro Downs, another ten at Flamboro on Thursday afternoon before nine dashes at Woodbine Racetrack on Thursday night.
