Bombs Away At Yonkers

The last night of November produced Yonkers Raceway's longest-priced winner of the season.

Im All Country skimmed the cones and lit up the tote board, winning the $9,000 fourth race at a cool 90-1.

Billy Dobson drove the three-year-old daughter of Artiscape for owner Mervin Van Otterloo and trainer Dean Eckley.

Leaving from Post 8, horse and chauffeur saved all the ground, then closed deep in the passing lane to prevail in 2:01. The upsetter defeated 2-5 favourite Dragon Princess (driven by Cat Manzi) by a half-length.

Im All Country paid $182 for her second win in 14 lifetime starts. The previous local '09 high win price was a pair of $149.50 mutuels, first by Keystone Rodeo (on April 13) and matched to the penny by Reverse the Curse (August 31).
