Sent off the longest shot on the board, Hes Got Swagger ($41.80) rode the pocket and stunned at 19-1 in Sunday's (Nov. 8) featured $11,500 Preferred 2 Handicap Pace at Flamboro Downs.

Hes Got Swagger and driver Travis Henry kept the pocket closed behind Toot Toot N (Ed Hensley), who assumed the lead after leaving from the innermost position, and drafted a :27.1 first quarter before ending up boxed by odds-on favourite Sportsline (Bruce Richardson) on approach to the half in :56.1.

While Sportsline kept mild yet sustained pressure on Toot Toot N through the second circuit before levelling off in upper stretch, Hes Got Swagger was able to stalk comfortably before angling to the open stretch. The five-year-old Vintage Master gelding found the finish line in time, nosing out Toot Toot N in 1:53.1. Outlawgrabbingears (Paul Davis) lifted down the grandstand side for third over Brodys Scraper (Travis Cullen), with both finishing within a scant head of the top pair.

Trainer Rachel Andrew co-owns 32-time winner Hes Got Swagger with Travis Cullen.

Andrew and Cullen teamed up to capture the sub-featured $8,500 Preferred 3 Pace as well, doing so with 16-time winner Jay Eye Em ($7.20). The four-year-old Big Jim gelding controlled the pace throughout and edged clear of pocket rival Prestige Seelster to win by three lengths in 1:53.2 while in line to Cullen. Ali (Henry) finished third.
