. The series is for colts and gelding that are non-winners of one race as of Oct. 15, 2010.

After getting away sixth in the field featuring the top nine money earners in the series, Carrino and driver Billy Davis Jr. moved into the outer flow and then angled three-deep past three-quarters. Favourite Offshore Drilling (Gord Brown) followed the winner wide to place while early leader Cards N Whiskey (Stev Skilton), who was shuffled to the backfield, closed well to show.

Carrino paid $10.80 to win. The three-year-old gelded son of Mach Three-Run The Sail is trained by Mary Lee Quinn for owner-breeder Umberto Tullio of Sharon, Ont.
