Driver Louis-Philippe Roy took command with Acting Out from post six and remained on top through the wire to win the $11,500 Preferred 2 Handicap Pace on Sunday, Nov. 4 at Flamboro Downs in 1:53.2.
The Richard Moreau trainee paced to the first quarter in :28.2 with Senior Market sitting the pocket. Toot Toot N, racing from fourth, mounted a bid after the leader past a :57 half and inched to within a length of the front by the 1:25.1 third quarter. However Acting Out faced little challenge with the bid and kicked to a two-and-a-half length victory under the wire. Toot Toot N held second from Senior Market settling for third.
A five-year-old gelding by Art Major, Acting Out won his eighth race from 31 starts this season and his 20th from 93 overall, earning $236,759. Brad Grant owns the $2.40 winner.
