Since 2011, Jimmy Taggart has won plenty of races at Monticello Raceway, but it’s been nearly three years since he drove five winners on one card. Although, that all changed Tuesday, November 5 at the ‘Mighty M.’
On Tuesday, Taggart notched victories with Shark Income ($16.40), Tobell ($4.10), Myras Hiho ($3.10), Ideal Bid ($3.20) and Kennanskingwilliam ($3.00).
The 44-year-old catch-driver has already driven 201 winners this season. The 2014 campaign marks the fourth consecutive year that Taggart has won at least 200 races. His mounts thus far this season have earned over $725,000.
Taggart is currently fourth in driving wins at Monticello.
