Defending champion Voelz Hanover is one of 11 top older pacing mares entered in this Friday night’s Forest City Pace eliminations at The Raceway at The Western Fair District.

The seven-year-old daughter of Astreos is quietly putting together another stellar campaign for Quebec owner Richard Berthiaume and trainer Ben Baillargeon. She has added five more wins to her resume this season while banking just under $200,000 at this point.

Voelz Hanover sits with just over $1.3 million earned lifetime and is one of five millionaires in the group. The others are Milton champion Rocklamation, Breeders Crown champion Monkey On My Wheel, Bluegrass champion Ticket To Rock and Blue Chip Farms champion Ginger And Fred.

The field of 11 has been divided into two splits with the top four finishers from each qualifying for the $200,000 final on Saturday, November 17.
