Rebeka Bayama wired a field scratched down to five to record her third straight win on Friday night in the featured $42,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Woodbine Racetrack.

Dreamfair Eternal and Oceans Motion were scratched sick from the 11th race allowing Rebeka Bayama and driver Sylvain Filion to move in two positions for a Post 2 start. The four-year-old Leader Bayama mare blasted to command as the wings of the gate folded and carved out fractions of :27, :56.4 and 1:25.3 en route to the 1:52.2 triumph. Blissful Smile and Scott Zeron followed one and a quarter lengths behind from the pocket for second while Mystical Victress and Randy Waples advanced first over to finish third.

Rebeka Bayama notched her fifth win in eight starts this year for owner-breeder Bayama Farms Inc. of Saint-Andre-D'Argenteuil, Que. Career win No. 13 pushed her seasonal bankroll over the $100,000 mark and lifetime earnings over the $200,000 plateau.

The 4-5 favourite paid $3.60 to win.
