After dominating the ‘B’ circuit in Ontario for the last number of seasons, driver Bob McClure set up shop at Woodbine Racetrack for the winter meet – and he’s starting to pile up the wins.
McClure found his way to victory lane three times on the Thursday evening card thanks to wins behind Jayda Nicole (1:57.4), Regil Tiger (1:54) and Majestic Kat (1:55.4.).
Though his win total has dropped off from this year (476) to last season (576), the Elora, Ont. reinsman might be able to put up back-to-back years with earnings in excess of $3 million.
To date, McClure has racked up 1,906 wins and purse earnings of close to $11 million.
