Greenhilldebatable made the lead with a strong uncovered move and had just enough in the tank to hold off her stablemate, Greenhill Hanover, in Tuesday’s (Nov. 3) feature at The Meadows: a $10,800 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Greenhilldebatable was fourth when Dave Palone sent her after the leader, Elysium Seelster. Even after putting that rival away, Greenhilldebatable needed still more to deal with Greenhill Hanover, who was tracking on her bumper. But the six-year-old daughter of Well Said-Well Read prevailed in 1:54.2, a neck better than her game stablemate. Always Giggling completed the ticket.
