Kawartha Downs' leading driver Gord Brown kicked off Tuesday's 11-race card with a natural hat trick then added three more to his seasonal tally

The resident of Brighton, Ont. set the tone for the evening card with a win in the opener aboard Camdassiana (1:59.1) for trainer Daniel Gassien before sending the Sebastien Giroux pupils Lady McCardle (1:58.3) and Quintal Bayama (1:56.4) to the winner’s circle to complete his hat trick.
Brown then guided Stepaside Larry (1:57) to victory in Race 8 for Mark Winacott and completed the late daily double with Go Native (1:56.1), also for Winacott, and Artistry (1:57.3) for Cheri Coakwell.
Brown, a winner of over $1.4 million in purses this year, is currently ranked eighth in Canada for wins with 277. He has amassed over $13 million in earnings lifetime and has recorded 2,905 triumphs.
